A perfect diopter is worthless if it falls off your head. I think this site needs better parametric search for frame size (frame width and temple length). The Calabria753 was too small for me but there was a calabria753-XL, slightly larger, but very difficult to find - not listed as 'similar' to the Calabria753.

They are embarrassingly inexpensive, look fine, came promptly, fit well; women's version has good interpupillary distance (a problem we find with other glasses). Durability remains to be seen.

these glasses are well made and he wife loves them. that's a 5 star rating in my book and at a fair price.

First off, there are few places I can get 5.0 lenses; secondly, they are a great price; and the shipping is quick.

I bought this model at +0.50 a few years ago. They proved to be my favorites among the glasses I had, so when I needed to step up the magnification a little, I was happy to see I could buy essentially the same glasses without going all the way to +1.0. The only shortcoming is that the arms on this one seem to be a little shorter than on my older ones: if I slide them up on my forehead, they can feel less secure. But they are otherwise ideal and fairly priced.

I love these reading glasses. They are lightweight, and I have them on most of the day. I just pull them down, when I don't need them for distance. After cataract surgery, I have tried many types/brands of reading glasses. Designer Reading Glasses, by far, have the best quality...truly are "designer". I recently had cataract surgery, and was looking in retail stores for reading glasses. Most of them were not manufactured in the USA and were of poor quality. These glasses are light weight, and I hardly know I am wearing them. I work on the computer a lot, and I use them constantly. I also like to read, so now I can start doing that again also. The quality of these glasses is so superior...nothing like it in retail stores.

My only negative is that I can't figure out how to find the right size from temple to temple and the sizes seem limited. These are a little small again, but they are flexible so they work out okay.
